The newspapers have a regular column for literature, cinema, theater, music, but not architecture. Architects and engineers don’t virtually engage in journalism. Why? The conditions of the profession and their lives, apparently. The craftsmen, do not write books. For their work, once admired in the world, speak folk traditions: For the design of Hagia - Sophia, the bridge of Arta, for foundations of buildings on the bridge of Koukou in Alpheus, which the scaffolding mold stepped on "hair-trichies", for the detailed plan under which was done “the bridge of Uzun Kiopru” (long bridge) in Eastern Thrace. Direct, albeit sporadic, information from craftsmen we read in newspapers that came out in Mastorochoria:
